BIOGRAPHIE

Andrei Irimia est un pianiste et compositeur nouveau venu dans le mouvement néoclassique qui émerge actuellement en Europe.

Son premier album « Nuit minimaliste » (2019) est un hommage à la mélancolie et à une certaine nonchalance de la musique minimaliste française. Puis, au printemps dernier, son deuxième album « All strings attached » est une fusion captivante de rythmes électroniques avec des instruments à cordes et un piano néoclassique.

Sa tournée européenne en 2023 a débuté par une fantastique performance au Festival Eurosonic aux Pays-Bas, où il a partagé la scène avec les talentueux Eydís Evensen, Svaneborg Kardyb et Joep Beving. Cette tournée s’est poursuivie par une apparition mémorable au Festival Sziget (Hongrie), à Jazz in the Park (Roumanie) et dans diverses salles philharmoniques en Roumanie.

BIOGRAPHY

Andrei Irimia is a pianist and composer, a newcomer to the neoclassical movement that is currently emerging in Europe.

He introduced his debut album, « Nuit minimaliste » in 2019 — a tribute to the melancholy and lofty nonchalance of French minimalist music. Last spring, he unveiled his latest work « All strings attached » a captivating fusion of electronic beats with neoclassical string instruments and piano.

Excitingly, he was gearing up for a European Tour in 2023, and his journey kicked off with a fantastic performance at the Eurosonic Festival in the Netherlands, where he shared the stage with the talented Eydís Evensen, Svaneborg Kardyb and Joep Beving. From there, he made memorable appearances at the Sziget Festival (Hungary), Jazz in The Park (Romania), and various Philharmonic venues around Romania, with more captivating stops planned along the way.
